Photo Exhibition, "The Photographic Art of the Crosstown Camera Club" at the Edina Art Center in Edina, Minnesota

Opening Night is August 6, 5-8 PM. The show closes Sept 2.

Print Photo Contest

A photo contest.  This is a print contest ONLY with a $5.00 entry fee.

The Bluff Country Master Gardeners are excited to announce the sponsorship of a Photo Contest in conjunction with the 2015 Wisconsin Master Gardeners Assoc. Annual Conference, July 31-August 1 in LaCrosse WI. Both the Conference and the Photo Contest are open to the public. Amateur photographers are invited to submit their favorite garden photos in any of five categories.

Cash prizes and certificates will be awarded in each category and for the People's Choice Award, which will be selected by conference attendees. Photos will be displayed on August 1 during the conference at the LaCrosse Center and at the LaCrosse Public Library during the month of August. The deadline to submit entries is June 30.

Spring Break Seminar March 21 & 22, 2015

    The Twin Cities Council of Camera Clubs (aka Camera Council) would like to invite you to attend this weekend event which will include presentations covering a broad range of topics including: nature, landscapes, portraits, and photo software. Tamron is sponsoring our Sunday speaker Don Mammoser. Bring your camera! The Raptor Center will be bringing birds for a mid-day photo shoot on Saturday.
  • We hope these instructional opportunities and shooting session, along with the fun and fellowship with fellow photographers, will meet or exceeded your expectations. We are looking forward to seeing you again this year or meeting you for the first time.
  • When: Saturday and Sunday, March 21-22, 2015. Saturday will begin with registration starting at 7 a.m. Programs will begin at 8:00 a.m. and finish with the Interclub awards starting at 4:30 p.m. Be ready for a day of learning, a chance to win door prizes, an awards program for the interclub competition, and lunch on Saturday. Sunday registrations begins at 11:30 a.m. with Don Mammoser's programs beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Panorama Prints at Springbrook, 2015

    It is time to think about bringing your Panorama Prints to Springbrook for the exclusive judging of these prints. You must bring them, or have someone from your club bring them, to Springbrook,and also take them home again. This is the only official judging of Panorama Prints for N4C.
  2. Please list on the back of the print your name, camera club, N4C member number, and title of the print.
    Rules for this contest can be found in the N4C Handbook on page F9, and as printed below.
    Also, I will be looking for judges. We would like to have judges from clubs which do not have any entries in the Panorama Print contest, if possible. Please let me know if you are available to help judge. Contact me at Stoever1@aol.com

  3. Rules For Panorama Print Annual Contest
    1. A Panorama Print is considered to be a photographic print with an aspect ratio greater than 2:1.
    2. Open contest; any subject, mode, or process, Color or Black and White.
    3. The print may be produced by the entrant, or by a commercial laboratory.
    4. Prints may be of any size or shape, not to exceed 320 square inches. The print MUST be mounted, with the size of the mount not to exceed 320 inches. (The length times width, in inches, must not be greater than 320.)
    5. Any contingency not covered by these rules will be referred to the Chairman of the Panorama Print Competition, whose interpretation and decision will be final.
    6. Ribbons will be awarded according to current N4C judging club rules. Points will count towards Club of the Year and Photographer of the Year.
    7. To reduce cost and problems with mailing oversize prints, this contest will require that entrants deliver their entries to Springbrook, either in person, or make arrangements to have them delivered, and picked up afterwards. No prints will be returned by mail.o edit text

"Photos in the Park,"

at Fort Snelling State Park

SAVE THE DATE!The Fort Snelling State Park Camera Club (FSSPCC) invites all TCACCC club members to attend "Photos in the Park" on September 12, 2015 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. FSSPCC will host photography-related seminars and nature events at Fort Snelling State Park.  This event is sponsored by the TCACCC and presentations will include both well known photographers, park rangers and talented FSSPCC members.  Entrance fee for the day will be paid by the TCACCC.  Watch for more details in the coming months.
